Role Description
We are seeking a Couture Client and Brand Coordinator to join our team full-time in the New York City. This role is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of client engagement, brand representation, and operational support. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator with experience in luxury markets, such as couture, bridal, high jewelry, or luxury PR.
This position requires a balance of creativity, relationship management, and organizational acumen. You will work closely with clients to ensure their experience reflects the highest standards of the House of Gilles, while also supporting brand initiatives, events, and day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
Client Engagement and Sales:
- Build and nurture relationships with clients to understand their unique needs and ensure a seamless, personalized experience.
- Guide clients through consultations, fittings, and post-delivery follow-ups with a focus on exceptional service.
- Accurately manage sales transactions, including documentation and communication with the atelier team.
- Prepare the showroom for appointments and make it personal !
Brand Representation and Collaboration:
- Act as an ambassador for the House of Gilles, ensuring the brand’s voice and values are reflected in all interactions.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams on PR and communications strategies.
- Assist in planning and executing events such as trunk shows, photoshoots, and private client showcases.
- Foster engagement with industry professionals, influencers, and media to build brand awareness.
Operational and Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate client records, including preferences, communications, and transactions.
- Coordinate schedules and appointments for client fittings and consultations.
- Support general administrative tasks such as responding to inquiries, preparing proposals, and organizing logistics for events.
- Ensure the atelier is prepared for client visits and events, creating a polished and welcoming environment.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven experience in a luxury market (e.g., couture, bridal, high jewelry, or luxury PR).
- Understanding of haute couture and fashion industry.
- Sales and negotiation expertise, with a client-first approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience in planning and executing events or marketing initiatives.
- Familiarity with luxury brand communications and public relations is a plus.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, excel and basic CRM tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
