We are seeking a Creative Production Intern to assist, grow and learn about the imaging workflow. You will assist in all elements of in-house production, help to ensure a seamless process for producing elevated images, as well as managing products for both e-commerce and editorial shoots. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with an anticipated work schedule of 40 hours/week.
Qualifications for the Position
- BA in Photography, Design, or related field
- Exemplary interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written
- Highly motivated, collaborative
- Knowledge of CaptureOne; CaptureOne Certified is a plus!
- Experience in Beauty, Fashion, E-Commerce is also a plus!
- Experience in a Startup is an extra plus!
- Attention to detail, extremely organized, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
- “I’ll find a way!” mindset where you can leverage your autonomy within your role to think outside the box
- Ability to work on-site at our offices in SoHo on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
Responsibilities
Photo Production
- Report to the Senior Producer
- Support the Photo Team on all production details for seasonal shoots
- Attend product hand-overs and keep updated logs of sample changes, shoot requests, etc.
- Manage and maintain samples and props
- Scout and attend model castings
- Organize shot lists and shoot notes in preparation for all photo shoots
- Travel and attend photo shoots as necessary (so fun, great learning experience!)
- Support Photo Team on all shoot plans and creative evolution
Imaging Workflow & Operations
- Learn to use the imagery database to help organization and workflows
- Pack and unpack for shoots and events
- Prepare shot lists for photo shoots
- Update sample/image tracking sheets before and after each photo shoot
Compensation & Benefits
The base pay for this position ranges from $16 - $18/hour base. Pay is based on a number of factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
