About the role:
Allara is looking for a creative thinker to assist in best-in-class social strategy, social marketing campaigns, and influencer management. This person will be responsible for audience and engagement growth across all owned channels. This includes the daily management of channel operations (content strategy, planning & creation, and community management) along with assisting in daily influencer management. The ideal candidate is at the forefront of social trends, innovation, has a strong creative eye, and is able to help bring the Allara brand voice and mission to life through social media.
This role is based in New York City, with in-person work at least two times per week.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy
- Execute on a growth and engagement-driven social media strategy
- Assist the Marketing Director on executing omnichannel marketing campaigns
- Execute & ideate social media concepts
- Assist in the management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy
- Help us grow and manage Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter and other social platforms
Social Media Content & Community
- Create video content across social media channels (Tiktok, Reels, Youtube)
- Identify key influencers and manage outreach and relationship communications
- Maintain a unified brand voice across different social media channels
- Monitor social media channels for trends, timely events, and relevant conversations; participate actively and execute strategies to amplify brand presence.
- Community management across all social channels, including responding to social media messages, inquiries, and comments, and engaging with current events or trending topics to foster brand interaction
About you:
- 3+ years of experience in a marketing-focused role that included social media-related responsibilities
- Commitment to the mission and to creating exceptional experiences for our customers
- Passion for brand marketing and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
- Proactive approach while maintaining strong time management with the ability to work on varying tasks in parallel
- Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
- Demonstrated copywriting skills
- Video and editing experience on multiple platforms
- Able to work independently and execute under set deadlines
- Strong creative eye
- Comfortable working in front of camera as subject/voice of company's social media posts
