JOB DESCRIPTION
Are you a creative mind with a passion for high-end fashion and a knack for social media? Caraa, a leading luxury bag company, and Mercado Famous, a Spanish charcuterie brand, are teaming up and in search of a dynamic social media & marketing associate to join our team.
The role requires you to be physically in our HQ office in Manhattan, New York City 5 days a week.
In this unique role, you'll have an 80-20 split working between Caraa and Mercado Famous, delving into the worlds of luxury accessories and artisanal Spanish meats.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Caraa Responsibilities (80% of your time):
- Content Creation: Develop engaging content for Caraa's social media channels, especially TikTok and Instagram. Highlight our stylish bags in innovative ways.
- Influencer Management: Identify and build relationships with influencers to expand Caraa's reach. Coordinate partnerships and campaigns to enhance our presence.
- Social Media Management: Assist in managing and curating content for various social media platforms, ensuring a cohesive online presence.
- Research and Trends: Stay updated on social media trends and algorithm changes, providing insights to improve our strategy.
- Graphic Design Support: Use basic Photoshop skills to help design social media graphics that align with Caraa's brand aesthetics.
Mercado Famous Responsibilities (20% of your time):
- Content Creation: Create engaging content showcasing Mercado Famous' charcuterie offerings. Collaborate with the marketing team to highlight the brand's unique selling points.
- Influencer Partnerships: Identify and collaborate with influencers in the food and lifestyle space to promote Mercado Famous products. Coordinate partnerships to increase brand awareness.
- Visual Storytelling: Produce appealing visuals that align with the brand's aesthetic, attracting foodies and luxury enthusiasts alike.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Passion for Fashion and Food: A genuine interest in high-end fashion, luxury accessories, and gourmet foods.
- Social Media Proficiency: Experience in creating content and managing influencer relationships. Knowledge of current social media trends and features.
- Creativity: Ability to generate fresh, innovative ideas.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working within a creative team.
- Basic Photoshop Skills: Ability to assist with designing social media graphics, ensuring they are visually appealing and on-brand.
- Social Media Enthusiast: Active and knowledgeable about various social media platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram.
