About The Role
We are seeking a freelance social media producer for an international multimedia news and media non-profit organization. The Producer will be responsible for daily content development, including creating social media content like vertical videos, user-generated content, and photography. This position reports directly to the CEO.
- Independently manage and execute content creation and social media strategy
- Create and schedule 3-4 social media posts per week
- Pitch and produce social-first series for social media
- Support planning and project management for content initiatives
Requirements
- B.A. in Journalism or related field
- 2+ years of content creation production experience
- 2+ years of content development for Gen-Z and Millennial demographics
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and project management tools
- Knowledge of social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter
- Strong interest in viral marketing and social media trends
- Experience with analytics and listening tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional communication skills
