About The Role
We're seeking a Senior Manager of Creative Operations to drive the seamless, end-to-end execution of all Brand Marketing & Creative projects, from inception to launch. In this role, you'll be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of excellence, ensuring precise alignment of objectives, timelines, and deliverables. You're renowned for your meticulous attention to detail, your mastery of Excel and PM software, your proactive sense of what's needed, and your passion for all things beauty. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with internal teams including Creative, Brand Marketing, Product Development, Ecommerce, and Consumer Engagement, as well as external partners like photographers, printers, designers, and other vendors. You'll report directly to the SVP of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management System Expert. Develop and manage a web-based digital project management/routing system (i.e. Asana). Own the implementation and train cross-functional partners on the project management tool
- Timeline Management. Establish timelines, assign project tasks to team members, and follow up with all parties regarding delivery of project obligations and feedback.Lead weekly Creative status meetings, keep updated project notes on all active projects and milestones
- Asset Management. Asset upload and distribution. Manage assets, including metadata
- Partner with PD/Ops PM. Work closely with PD and Ops teams to establish timelines to ensure we deliver on-time shipments for launches and artwork updates
- Partner with Creative Vendors. Liaison between internal team and external printers on color matching, artwork releases, proofs and other general questions. Assist photoshoot production, including pre-pro, casting, etc
- Troubleshooting. Manage and mitigate day-to-day problems, understand when to escalate issues, and ensure strong and effective communications in difficult and time-sensitive situations
- Budget management for the Creative team
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in project management.
- Skilled mastery of Asana or similar digital project management tools
- Passion for the Beauty industry
- Extremely detail-oriented, able to multi-task and keep up with a diverse to-do list
- Proactive mindset, can anticipate needs and stays ahead of them
- Outstanding time management skills. Able to juggle multiple priorities and projects at once
- Outstanding communications skills (both written and verbal)
- Able to commute to the NYC office minimum 2 days per week
- Available for various weekend and evening events on a scheduled, ad hoc basis
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship from employer. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
