About the Role:
APC Postal Logistics is seeking a talented, driven, and self-motivated Senior Marketing Manager who combines strategic thinking with tactical execution to become the first dedicated marketing hire in our organization. This is a unique role for a marketing generalist who thrives on both high-level planning and hands-on implementation, with the autonomy to shape and drive APC’s marketing strategy from the ground up. As a team of one, you’ll report to the President/Co-Founder and work closely with the Senior Director of Sales to execute APC’s go-to-market plan, supporting our sales team in driving growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Execution and Management
- Act as a brand guardian, ensuring all marketing activities and materials consistently reflect APC's established brand direction, voice, and visual identity
- Maintain and enforce brand guidelines across all customer touchpoints, both internal and external.
- Work closely with leadership to align on brand goals and make adjustments as needed to keep all messaging on-brand.
Content Creation and Facilitation
- Develop and execute a content plan that includes regular posts across social media channels, customer communications, and executive communications.
- Produce high-quality, engaging content for various audiences, including prospective and current customers, and tailor messaging for each channel.
- Support thought leadership initiatives and enhance brand visibility through original content creation and curation.
Events Planning and Execution
- Plan and manage APC’s participation at key industry events, overseeing logistics, promotional activities, and follow-up strategies.
- Develop and execute APC-owned events from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with brand values and maximizing brand exposure.
Sales Enablement
- Create sales enablement materials such as presentations, case studies, one-pagers, and product sheets to support the sales team’s efforts.
- Collaborate with the Senior Director of Sales to ensure alignment on messaging and deliver materials that enhance sales effectiveness and communicate APC’s unique value propositions.
Digital Marketing Oversight
- Manage digital marketing efforts in partnership with an external agency, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media advertising
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign effectiveness and suggest data-driven improvements
- Act as the liaison between APC and the agency to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and strategic priorities
Market Research and Continuous Improvement
- Conduct proactive research to stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Bring new ideas and insights to the team to improve APC’s marketing approach and capitalize on emerging opportunities
Budgeting and ROI Analysis
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, prioritizing initiatives that deliver the highest return on investment.
- Analyze the cost-effectiveness of various marketing activities, providing insights to guide budget allocation and campaign planning

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in a B2B setting, with 3+ years specifically in logistics, supply chain, or transportation industry.
- Proven success in a marketing generalist role, demonstrating versatility across content creation, events management, sales enablement, and digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of brand management, with experience in acting as a brand guardian to maintain consistency across all materials and channels.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to create and adapt content for various audiences and platforms.
- Experience working with digital marketing agencies and a strong understanding of digital channels, KPIs, and optimization tactics.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute marketing initiatives independently.
- Creative thinker with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities, solving challenges, and delivering impactful results.
- Comfortable working as a team of one, with the ability to collaborate effectively with external partners and report directly to executive leadership.
- eCommerce Logistics experience is preferred. Delivery B2C/D2C or within the technology space is helpful. As well as experience working with large or growing retail Brands.
