Reports To: CFO, indirect report to EVP Sales
Principal Accountabilities:
Works with sales and merchandising to develop and drive strategies to maximize sales, profit and optimize inventory with cross-functional teams; serve as the key liaison between Sales, Finance, Production, Merchandising, Ecommerce and Store Operations, to mitigate risks and deliver sustainable profitable growth. A key driver to assist to deliver financial results that maximize revenue, gross margin, inventory turn goals and minimize excess inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Forecasting, Receipt Management and Financial Planning
- Create monthly plans and reforecast at division/distribution level for sales, margin and inventory, managing to healthy turns and ending inventory targets
- Manage open-to-buy receipts for planning majors
- Track inbound-to-warehouse receipts for timely allocation to all stores and ecommerce sites
- Execute allocation (strategic, systemic) through channel distribution, warehouse splits, and by-store delivery, ensuring sales/receipt targets are met
- Partner w/ DTC Planner, combine and coordinate Ecommerce and Store planning
- Replenishment Program Management
- Consignment Model Management
- Partner with Sales and Production on inventory re-orders/shares/trades
- Business Reporting
- Analyze historical sales performance to identify drivers of trends
- Understand impact of promotional strategies and pricing on sales and margin forecasts
- Monitor, track and/or suggest Transfers/RTV/Markdowns
- Analyze selling and inventory by store-style-size to stock balance between business units (retail, ecommerce, and wholesale)
- Review MD strategies to insure in line with margin targets
- Technology/Systems Integration and Data Validation
- Work with finance department to actualize company forecasts monthly
- Work with finance department to budget and reforecast multiple times annually
- Continuously explore more efficient ways of working with systems
- Identifying opportunities & partnering with merchandising and sales teams to develop assortment and new season strategy
- Using sales history and trend knowledge to suggest buy quantities working to a set budget
- Communicate weekly selling highlights
- Work with the sales team and support in prepping for major selling meetings & tradeshows
- Monitoring sales at color/size level for major accounts to identify and react to in-season opportunities/issues
- Have a focus on replenishment, tracking sales at door/size level to ensure correct allocation of product and to ensure we are capitalizing on all opportunities
- Stock Management – updating sales teams with current stock position by style so that they can drive re- orders.
- Monitor internal stock position and anticipate any end of season residual issues
- Track the value of shipments to each account to ensure all orders are fulfilled, reducing the risk of increasing EOS residual inventory
- Work with Sales to track drop ship selling for majors, including ensuring all drop ship product is available online and monitoring stock by SKU, identifying sales opportunities or stock issues.
- Monitor, analyze, and guide all buys. Manage, lead, optimize and enhance the Open-to-Buy process across channels to drive efficiency of inventory and overall business performance.
- Work with Sales and Finance for communication of financial results, forecasts and action plans to the business on a weekly basis.

Salary $150,000 + 10% Bonus
