Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Director of Marketing to join as a key member of our founding team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will own the entire marketing strategy and execution, including market planning, campaign management, and communications to enhance ACALINK’s brand presence. You will collaborate closely with leadership (including the CTO) to align marketing initiatives with organizational goals and drive customer acquisition. This is an opportunity to shape the brand from the ground up and influence the company’s long-term vision.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and plans
- Conduct market research to identify trends and inform strategic decisions
- Oversee marketing campaigns and manage budgets effectively
- Drive customer acquisition and engagement through innovative approaches
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing with product and business objectives
- Analyze marketing KPIs and optimize performance
- Establish marketing processes, standards, and best practices
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Proven expertise in marketing strategy, market planning, and team leadership
- Experience managing marketing budgets and scaling brand presence
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in marketing firm or as a CMO/marketing leader
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools or platforms
- Strong skills in sales and business development to drive revenue growth
- Deep understanding of online marketplace business models
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Masters Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $60,000–$70,000/year
- Significant equity component (early compensation heavily equity-based, consistent with founding team)
- Opportunity to grow into CMO role as company scales
- Flexible remote work initially; transition to onsite in Palo Alto Spring 2026
