Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Specialist to develop and execute engaging digital marketing strategies across various platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing social media channels, creating compelling content, and analyzing performance metrics to enhance brand visibility and engagement. This role requires a strong understanding of social media management tools, digital marketing techniques, and visual content creation to effectively promote our brand and connect with our audience.
Duties
- Film and edit multiple short-form videos per week across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Capture original imagery and video content—both in-studio and on location—as needed.
- Implement, and manage social media marketing campaigns across platforms such as TikTok Instagram, YouTube and others.
- Manage social listening tools to monitor brand reputation and industry trends.
- Schedule and publish content using Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar applications while ensuring consistency with branding guidelines.
- Conduct keyword research and optimize content for SEO to improve organic reach.
- Analyze web analytics and social media metrics to measure campaign effectiveness.
- Engage with followers through relationship management strategies, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly.
- Work closely with the team to deliver polished, platform-ready content quickly.
- Identify emerging social trends and formats that we can strategically tap into—making content culturally relevant while staying true to our brand voice and values.
- Repurpose existing footage into new, platform-optimized cuts.
- Maintain quality and brand consistency across every video, regardless of speed or volume.
- Comfortable brainstorming and shooting engaging content that feels authentic to our brand voice and message.
- Research social and cultural trends to identify opportunities that fit the brand’s voice and aesthetic.
Qualifications / Experience
- 2+ years of experience creating, shooting, and editing short-form video content for brands or creators.
- Prefer experience in healthcare social media
- Deep knowledge of TikTok, Reels, and YouTube, and how to create native, high-performing content tailored to each platform.
- Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or CapCut or DaVinci Resolve
- Strong eye for composition, lighting, and pacing.
- Experience in photography and/or videography—comfortable shooting both in-studio and on-the-go.
- Strong understanding of styling, and composition with an eye for elevated visual storytelling.
- Ability to work quickly and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort both behind the camera and in post-production.
- Positive, collaborative attitude and openness to feedback.
- Can film in our offices in Framingham and (occasionally) Marlborough
Job Types: Part-time, Internship, Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
