Public Relations Vice President

Here's What You'll Be Doing

Coyne is looking for an experienced Vice President to join our growing healthcare practice. Candidates must have an exceptional understanding of healthcare public relations and preferable experience leading pharmaceutical accounts. The candidate must be a big-picture thinker, idea generator, and media relations strategist for multiple client accounts and will also assist in the preparation of RFP responses. This role will also oversee campaign management, including consumer activations, media relations, blogger/influencer engagement, vendor relationships and event planning. The candidate should be personable, highly motivated, detailed-oriented, an excellent multi-tasker, and comfortable working in a fast-paced open environment. Additionally, the candidate must have experience managing and mentoring multiple junior and mid-level staff members.

What you should have

• Bachelor's Degree
• 10+ years of experience working in PR on the agency side or in-house
• Must have a passion for healthcare PR
• Experience working with large-scale healthcare brands
• Ability to think strategically and creatively and be a problem solver
• A strong understanding of the media landscape and the ability to guide your team to land prominent media placements
• Blogger/influencer management experience
• Experience managing a staff
• Strong verbal communications skills and excellent writing skills
