Purpose of Role
Responsible for defining and executing the company’s overall marketing vision, brand strategy, and customer engagement framework. Oversees all facets of marketing, including brand, creative, digital, content, product marketing, customer experience, communications, and marketing technology, to drive enterprise growth, strengthen market position, and deliver consistent, high-quality customer experiences. Partners closely with executive leadership to ensure marketing strategies support short and long-term business objectives, enhance competitive differentiation, and maximize revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Develops and leads the enterprise marketing vision, strategic plan, and multi-year roadmap aligned to the company’s goals.
- Serves as a key advisor to executive leadership on marketing strategy, brand positioning, customer insights, and market trends.
- Builds a high-performing, data-driven marketing organization that drives growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Oversees brand development, stewardship, and governance to ensure a consistent and compelling brand identity across all channels.
- Leads creative strategy and execution, including campaign development, messaging frameworks, and storytelling.
- Directs all external communications, public relations, and reputation management to strengthen the Company’s public profile.
- Owns the end-to-end customer journey strategy, ensuring seamless, personalized, and engaging experiences across all touchpoints.
- Leverages insights, market intelligence, and customer data to improve satisfaction, loyalty, and lifetime value.
- Develops strategies for customer acquisition, retention, segmentation, and lifecycle engagement.
- Drives digital marketing strategy, including SEO, SEM, CRM, email, social media, and emerging platforms.
- Oversees content strategy and production to support brand awareness, education, and conversion.
- Manages the marketing technology ecosystem (CRM, CDP, analytics, automation tools) to improve targeting, measurement, and personalization.
- Partners with Sales, Product, and Operations to align marketing strategies with business priorities and revenue goals.
- Oversees demand generation, performance marketing, and multi-channel campaign optimization.
- Establishes KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure marketing effectiveness and improve ROI.
- Manages budgets, resource allocation, and vendor/agency relationships.
- Coaches, mentors, and develops marketing leaders and teams to support organizational capability and professional growth.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory and industry standards relevant to marketing communications.

- 50-70 Indirect: User Experience, Customer Service, Marketing Acquisition, Marketing Operations, Brand Strategy, Channel Marketing, CRM, and related teams.
Qualifications - Experience/Skills/Competencies
- Minimum 15 years of progressive marketing leadership experience, with minimum 8 years in an executive or senior leadership position.
- Expertise across strategy, branding, product, social, digital, communications, acquisition, retention, and loyalty.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate, challenge conventions, and drive integrated customer journey strategies across digital and traditional channels.
- Advanced, current knowledge of marketing techniques, platforms, personalization tools, CRM/CDPs, automation, analytics, and marketing technology stacks.
- Strong financial and business acumen with experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets and optimizing profitability.
- Expertise in leveraging customer insights, segmentation, and analytics to improve engagement, conversion, and customer experience.
- Experience developing high-impact content strategies and leading brand differentiation initiatives.
- Knowledge of management principles, leadership techniques, and departmental operations.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, project management, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation, coaching, mentorship, and team leadership capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and relevant marketing platforms.
- Experience adhering to legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements, including those governing mortgage lending.
- Ability to adapt strategies to evolving customer expectations and market trends.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with executives, cross-functional teams, and external partners to drive company-wide customer experience initiatives.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
