Marketing Event Specialist

The Marketing Event Specialist will work on planning, development, and implementation of marketing and advertising strategies and communications activities to support energy efficiency efforts with a utility in New Jersey. The team works with a 150-person creative and paid media services group to implement marketing campaigns. We help our clients and communities use less energy, save money, and help the environment through the development, implementation, and refinement of marketing initiatives.

This position will be part of the energy account services team, collaborating with internal teams and external clients to ensure campaign alignment with program goals and branding standards. The right candidate should be a marketing generalist who knows how to work with experts to achieve goals.

The role includes leading and supporting the planning, development, and implementation of marketing events, sponsorships, and advertising strategies to promote energy efficiency programs. Responsibilities include developing and managing a strategic marketing event calendar, coordinating event logistics, developing training resources, contributing to annual marketing plans, and managing creative projects.
