Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media and Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing innovative digital marketing strategies, managing social media platforms, and enhancing our brand presence across various channels. This role requires a strong understanding of social media management, content creation, and digital analytics to engage audiences effectively and drive business growth. Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media marketing campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Create engaging content including graphics, videos, blog posts, and photography that align with brand voice and marketing goals.
  • Monitor social listening tools to gauge brand reputation and industry trends; respond to comments and messages promptly to foster community engagement.
  • Utilize SEO best practices and keyword research to optimize content for search engines and increase online visibility.
  • Manage social media scheduling using tools like Hootsuite or Buffer; track performance metrics with Google Analytics and web analytics tools to assess campaign effectiveness.
  • Design visual assets using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite for promotional materials, advertisements, and branding initiatives.
  • Execute Facebook Advertising campaigns and other paid social media promotions to target specific audiences effectively.
  • Collaborate with the public relations team to coordinate outreach efforts, press releases, and branding activities.
  • Maintain consistent branding across all digital platforms while ensuring content quality through proofreading and editing.
  • Support e-commerce initiatives by integrating social media strategies that enhance online sales channels.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related roles with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing software.
  • Hands-on experience with social listening tools, Hootsuite or Buffer applications, Google Analytics, and web analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of SEO techniques, keyword research, Facebook Advertising, branding strategies, and relationship management.
  • Strong graphic design skills with the ability to create visually appealing content for diverse platforms.
  • Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail for proofreading and content creation.
  • Ability to analyze data insights to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and digital marketing trends is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or related field is preferred but not mandatory. Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
