About the Role

We’re hiring a Growth Marketer to help drive demand across both Rowan’s own business and the small business clients we serve.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role. You’ll manage ad campaigns, optimize growth funnels, test channel strategies, and help us (and our clients) grow smarter. You’ll launch. You’ll learn. You’ll scale what works. You won’t be alone—but you will lead.

This isn’t about flashy design or big brand campaigns. This is about clarity, precision, and curiosity. The right person will bring an experimental mindset, a deep love of learning, and the analytical chops to turn insights into action.

What you’ll do

You’ll own growth strategy and execution across paid and organic channels. Some days you’ll be building ad campaigns from scratch. Other days, you’ll be in the data asking “what’s actually working?” Every day, you’ll be helping people move forward—our team, our clients, and the future owners they serve.

Specifically, you’ll

  • Plan, launch, manage, and optimize paid ad campaigns (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and beyond) for Rowan and our clients
  • Work with leadership to shape Rowan’s overall growth playbook
  • Test and scale new growth channels—social, content, SEO, outbound, partnerships, and more
  • Own growth metrics across the funnel: CAC, ROAS, conversion rates, LTV, channel attribution, etc.
  • Design and run experiments—turn ideas into pilots, then into systems
  • Collaborate across teams (product, creative, sales) to align messaging and leverage customer insight
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track performance and guide decision-making
  • Contribute to client marketing strategy—especially around paid media and growth analytics

Who you are

You’re not just good at growth—you’re obsessed with it. You’ve worked in startups or fast-moving environments where learning is constant and budgets don’t get wasted. You think in hypotheses. You notice patterns. You don’t need a big team to make a big impact.

More than anything, you care about helping people find clarity—through numbers, through systems, through smart strategy. You’re as comfortable managing a $5K ad test as you are advising a founder on what channel to try next.

You might be a fit if you

  • Have 5+ years experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or demand generation
  • Have worked at an early-stage startup that grown from pre-seed to series B
  • Have managed and scaled paid acquisition campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Are deeply analytical—you don’t just report the numbers, you explain what they mean and what to do next
  • Thrive in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments (bonus points for startup or agency experience)
  • Love optimizing everything—ads, funnels, content, processes, systems
  • Think like a product person—understanding how marketing supports the whole customer journey
  • Enjoy being client-facing when needed (data reviews, marketing reports, campaign planning)
  • Learn fast and aren’t afraid to experiment
  • Believe that trust, clarity, and legacy matter just as much as clicks
