Event Manager Job Description

As Event Manager, you will be responsible for conducting short- and long-term planning and management for events and sales, developing and recommending budgets and marketing plans, and managing within approved plans to maintain or exceed budgeted sales and profits.

You will evaluate each piece of event business to ensure proper servicing, assemble creative and innovative event attractions, and train and supervise event staff to book banquet and catering functions.

In this role, you will lead the event team to build long-term, value-based customer relationships and administer all phases of the event department, including sales, planning, marketing, servicing, and administrative procedures.
