We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing and Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will help grow our brand presence, generate leads, and drive sales through strategic marketing campaigns, client engagement, and exceptional customer service.
Job Overview
The Marketing and Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing both marketing and sales strategies to drive company growth and increase revenue. This individual will work closely with the leadership team to ensure the company’s marketing efforts align with our business objectives and will lead the sales team to foster long-term client relationships and secure new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the company’s services and build brand awareness within the landscape construction industry.
- Create compelling content for website, social media, email campaigns, and print materials that highlight the company’s services, projects, and successes.
- Manage digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, PPC, social media advertising, and content creation.
- Oversee website management and ensure it is up-to-date, engaging, and optimized for search engines.
- Track and analyze marketing performance, including key metrics such as website traffic, lead generation, and social media engagement, and adjust strategies as needed to meet goals.
- Organize events (such as trade shows, community events, and client gatherings) to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients.
Sales
- Lead and manage the sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and maintaining client relationships.
- Identify new business opportunities through outreach, networking, and referrals in the landscape construction market.
- Develop and maintain a sales pipeline, ensuring the timely follow-up of potential leads and providing regular reports to senior management on sales progress.
- Coordinate with the design and project teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to project execution, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring the overall success of each project.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Work closely with senior management to establish pricing strategies, marketing budgets, and sales goals aligned with company growth targets.
- Collaborate with the design and construction teams to ensure marketing materials accurately reflect the company’s work and capabilities.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, supporting their professional growth and ensuring team success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing and sales, preferably in the construction, design, or landscaping industry.
- Proven success in creating and executing marketing strategies and driving sales growth.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing techniques, including SEO, PPC, social media, and content marketing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), and marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, etc.).
Preferred Skills
- Experience in landscape construction or related industries.
- Familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) for marketing materials.
- Knowledge of project management tools and sales tracking software.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to inform decision-making.
