Marketing Specialist & Community Ambassador
(Full-Time | Remote/Hybrid | Reports to Director of Marketing & Events)
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Marketing Specialist & Community Ambassador plays a key role in sharing UPP’s message with the world and deepening relationships within our vibrant community of coaching members, event attendees and industry partners.
You’ll be the voice and heartbeat of our community, helping to create marketing campaigns that attract new members while fostering deep engagement and retention among our existing ones.
This is part creative marketing, part relationship-building, part ambassador — and all impact.
COMPENSATION & REWARD
We’re finalizing a new, performance-based compensation plan that puts A-Players in control of their own income.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Campaigns
- Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns for UPP coaching programs, live events, and online courses.
- Manage digital content across email, social media, website, and online communities.
- Create and distribute engaging, on-brand content that drives connection and conversion (posts, reels, stories, newsletters, testimonials).
- Work with our leadership team and creative partners to produce compelling promotional materials for events, trainings, and launches.
- Track, measure, and report on campaign performance with a focus on ROI and engagement.
Community Engagement & Ambassador Role
- Serve as the human connection point for the UPP coaching community — welcoming new members, celebrating wins, and amplifying success stories.
- Manage and nurture online community spaces (e.g., private Facebook groups, coaching portals, member forums).
- Engage regularly with members to encourage participation, gather feedback, and spotlight their growth.
- Coordinate community-driven content such as testimonials, case studies, and social spotlights.
- Support live event experiences by fostering connections before, during, and after — both in-person, via phone and online.
- Partner with the events and operations teams to ensure a “WOW” experience for every attendee, client, and partner.
Brand Storytelling & Advocacy
- Champion UPP’s brand story and voice across all touchpoints.
- Share member success stories that illustrate UPP’s mission and core values.
- Build and nurture relationships with past members, alumni, and industry influencers to grow brand advocacy.
- Act as a positive ambassador for UPP in every interaction — online and offline.

Preferred Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in marketing, community management, or events.
- Strong writing, editing, phone and overall communication skills.
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, Keap or similar CRM/email platforms.
- Experience managing social media platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
- Bonus: Experience in coaching, training, or membership-based organizations.
