Job Summary of Digital Media Director
Lead and inspire a dynamic marketing team to execute comprehensive digital strategies that align with Walmart’s business goals. Drive innovation across digital media channels, oversee complex campaigns, and foster strong partnerships with internal teams and external agencies. Use deep expertise in digital marketing and data driven insights to enhance customer engagement and maximize business performance.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Digital Media Director:
- Develop and lead execution of digital marketing strategies across all channels, ensuring alignment with Walmart’s overall marketing objectives.
- Manage multiple large-scale digital campaigns from planning through optimization, incorporating data insights to maximize ROI.
- Coach and mentor marketing associates, providing feedback and development opportunities to build a high-performing team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to integrate digital initiatives across channels, including paid search, social media, display, organic search, and affiliate marketing.
- Oversee budget management, forecasting, and financial performance tracking to meet operational goals.
- Drive continuous process improvements and innovation within digital marketing workflows and tools.
- Ensure all marketing efforts uphold Walmart’s values, ethics, and compliance standards.
- Lead the development of customer lifecycle and relationship management strategies to enhance engagement and loyalty.
Qualifications and Experience of Digital Media Director:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field with at least 6 years of marketing experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role; or 8 years of relevant marketing experience.
- Proven expertise in digital marketing disciplines such as affiliate marketing, paid and organic search, social media, and campaign management.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and mentoring associates.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and apply insights to optimize marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management abilities.
- Preferred experience includes leading digital transformation initiatives and working with external agencies and technology partners.

Salary
The annual salary range for this position is $132,000 to $264,000, with additional compensation through annual or quarterly performance bonuses and stock options where applicable.
