Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing online retail company in Grand Rapids, Michigan, US , is seeking a creative and data-driven E-commerce Marketing Specialist with a strong focus on social media strategy. The E-commerce Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media campaigns, managing content calendars, analyzing performance metrics, and optimizing strategies to achieve e-commerce objectives. Key Responsibilities
Developing and implementing a cohesive social media strategy aligned with e-commerce goals and brand guidelines. Creating engaging and shareable content (graphics, videos, copy) for various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest). Managing day-to-day social media operations, including scheduling posts, monitoring channels, and responding to comments and messages. Planning and executing paid social media advertising campaigns, including audience targeting, budget management, and A/B testing. Collaborating with the design and content teams to ensure brand consistency and visual appeal across all social media efforts. Analyzing social media performance data using analytics tools, providing regular reports on key metrics, ROI, and insights. Identifying emerging social media trends and platform updates, recommending adjustments to strategies. Working closely with the e-commerce team to integrate social media efforts with website promotions, email marketing, and other digital channels. Building and nurturing online communities, fostering customer engagement and loyalty. Managing influencer collaborations and partnerships to expand reach and credibility. We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. At least 4 years of proven experience in e-commerce marketing, with a specialization in social media management and strategy, is required. Demonstrable success in growing social media followings, engagement rates, and driving online sales is essential. Expertise in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, platform-specific insights) is a must. Strong copywriting, visual storytelling, and graphic design skills are highly desirable. Understanding of SEO principles and their integration with social media strategy is a plus. Excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment are crucial.
