We are seeking a driven, creative individual to take ownership of our brand's presence on social media and drive organic growth. This is a foundational, part-time opportunity for someone ready to earn a stake in a mission-driven business by dedicating approximately 5 hours per week.
Compensation & Structure
This role requires maximum efficiency and focus on high-impact results.
- Time Commitment: Approximately 5 hours per week, flexible schedule.
- Compensation: Compensation will be a percentage of company equity (ownership stake), to be determined based on experience and the achievement of agreed-upon social media growth and engagement targets.
Key Responsibilities
The primary goal is to significantly increase organic engagement and visibility to drive traffic to the e-commerce store through focused, high-quality content.
1. High-Impact Content Creation (Focus)
- Generate 3-5 pieces of high-quality content per week across Instagram and/or TikTok, prioritizing short-form video (Reels/TikToks) that showcases products in an appealing, authentic way.
- Write compelling, keyword-rich captions for all social posts to maximize organic reach and link to the e-commerce site.
- Develop a weekly content plan that aligns with current inventory, seasonal promotions, and the Whistleville Market brand mission.
2. Audience Engagement & Growth
- Engage with followers and the wider food/coffee community on social media platforms for approximately 15-30 minutes daily (within the 5 hours/week total) to increase visibility and build community.
- Actively source and share User-Generated Content (UGC) from customers to build trust and social proof.
3. Basic Digital Management
- Perform basic administrative tasks related to social media accounts (e.g., updating bios, ensuring all links are current and functional).
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging, professional-level photo and video content using a smartphone.
- Proven experience growing an audience or driving engagement on Instagram and/or TikTok (a portfolio or examples are essential).
- Deep understanding of current social media trends, best practices, and platform algorithms.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of delivering consistent results within a minimal time budget.
- Passionate about quality food/beverage products and community-focused missions.
