Who You Are

We’re looking for an exceptional product marketing leader to lead our corporate product marketing function. This role will be responsible for crafting new messaging for TabaPay to help position us for the next stage of growth into new markets and products. This role is highly strategic, mission critical for TabaPay, and involves frequent interfaces with the CEO and executive team.

You will help us craft a new corporate message by identifying specific key target markets, developing a deep understanding of these audiences’ needs, and crafting a unique selling proposition and message that resonates with them. You will also own our website redesign and work with a team of designers, developers, and product managers to bring it to life. Additionally, as a senior lead, help mentor and improve the marketing team.

What You’ll Do

Growth in New Markets: Help us expand to new markets by identifying new target markets that could be served with TabaPay products, understanding competition, determining product/market fit for these areas, deeply understanding their distinct needs, and creating target personas
Differentiated Messaging: Help craft a clear and compelling message on what makes TabaPay unique in serving these audiences. You’ll talk to our biggest fans, prospects, deeply understand why they love us, and create a message to attract a new wave of fans
Website Redesign: Lead all aspects of our website redesign from new messaging, new pages, new brand design, and web analytics to better attract customers
Team Leader: Hire and manage team to redesign the website. Additionally, as a senior leader on the marketing team, help mentor other marketing teammates and influence cross-functional partners across the company

Qualifications

Curious: Passionate about understanding how complex products work
Customer obsessed: Great at conducting customer research, deeply understanding customer needs, and deriving customer insights to inform differentiated messaging and product roadmap
Act like an owner: Ability to problem solve, think strategically and analyze qualitative and quantitative date, assess and prioritize opportunities, develop a plan to go after these opportunities
Storyteller: Excellent at crafting clear and compelling messaging for a B2B audience
Collaborator: Excellent at collaborating with and influencing executives and cross-functional stakeholders such as product management, engineering, data analytics
Thrive at startups: Ability to be a self-starter, identify and solve problems, and move fast
Must have 10-15 years of product marketing experience
Payments experienced preferred

The pay range for this position is $160,000- $180,000 for base pay; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits as listed below, dependent on the position offered.

This position is a hybrid position and must be able to commute to our Palo Alto, CA office at least 2 days a week.
