We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Transformation and Planning to join our Asset Servicing Line of Business team. This role is in New York City, NY.

This role sits at the heart of Asset Servicing’s transformation journey, focused on driving operational alignment and execution of initiatives integrated with the Enterprise Lead to Ledger program. This multi-phase initiative is reshaping how clients are onboarded, serviced, measured, and billed—across platforms, functions, and the enterprise architecture. The VP will lead critical planning and delivery efforts tied to commercial enablement, client lifecycle accuracy, SLA/SLD maturity, billing automation, and service group insights.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Own end-to-end planning and tracking of delivery milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation across the Lead to Ledger transformation initiative
  • Support Asset Servicing readiness, adoption, and governance across multiple business, Operations, and technology stakeholders
  • Drive first-of-its-kind operating model changes across the organization, shaping new ways of working and enabling long-term scalability
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 7+ years of change management experience
  • Strategic delivery experience in transformation programs within complex, matrixed financial services environments
  • People leadership experience, including building, guiding, and aligning cross-functional and operational teams
  • Experience managing cross-LOB dependencies with attention to controls, documentation, and stakeholder communication
  • Proficiency in project management tools and data visualization platforms (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Tableau, Power BI)

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 7+ years of change management experience
  • Strategic delivery experience in transformation programs within complex, matrixed financial services environments
  • People leadership experience, including building, guiding, and aligning cross-functional and operational teams
  • Experience managing cross-LOB dependencies with attention to controls, documentation, and stakeholder communication

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $68,000 and $179,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
